Our Very First Sentosa Outing!

Hello guys!

Everyone is back home from Sentosa with Tanned skin! Especially SK! He kept applying tanning lotion non stop lah ._.

It's W473's first trip together to Sentosa, together with few of the W426 people! :D Also, this is my first trip to Sentosa too! :D really appreciate you guys to be there, had fun, and unforgettable memories!

Our combined cell won captain's ball! Didn't proceed to Volley ball because of the rain D: but Kudos to all!

Special welcome & thanks to the friends that joined us!
Namely, Leo, Jiahong & Honghui (SK's brother) =D

I think we really had fun together also knowing each other more. This event also built our team spirit stronger! :D

Lets all aim to be faithful in reading the bible and the devotion. =)

Anyway My Life binder aside, want to share with u guys something interesting!

I was just going through my bible study material last time,
and pondered upon one lesson on
Reaching out with Jesus's Love.

It was written " People don't really care how much we know until they know how much we care!"

I thought to myself, am I caring enough for the people around me.
Maybe u may have similiar thoughts as well...

So W473, lets care for one another more on our own accord=)

everybody who went to yesterday's Combined CellGroup at Queestown will agree with me that it is an awesome session! I missed Shaun's talkings. There isn't preaching of sermon, instead Shaun decided to use the remaining time to share about this cool folder called "My Life 2009"

W473, to show our appreciation, we shall really make FULL use of the folder okayys! bring it everywhere! read it, digest it, think about it, meditate on it and pen down your thoughts! ask about anything you're unsure of. Let's move on to the next level! Let's not just remain where we are right now! We're ONE BIG family! :D

Shenny's Family (pray for reconciliation, no divorce cases, father to slide back to God)

RuiLing's Project (pray for smooth presention, pray for able to hand up her project parts on time, pray for minimization of dispute among her group mates.)

Shenny's Birthday Celebration!

today we had combine cell grp with W426at bowen's place,

actually is considered yesterday la,

now is 2am le..

anyway, hohoho i really enjoyed!

firstly during the praise song. i could really sense God's presence so strong among us,

we r all praising God at

full power!!! Halleluya!

during testimonies time... I really feel my faith arise after hearing the members share.

God had nv stop and will

never stop doing great things in our lives! i always like one phrase that Pastor always says:

God will turn all your disappointment into a new appointment. AMEN!

Mikki, Naresh and Jasmine actually sacrificed their sleeping time and

made a wonderful gift for the cell groups

its a very beautifully done binder/ring file. shall post more abt it in the next post of mine :)

Last but not least, we celebrated Shenny's birthday!!!!!! (actual birthday is actually on 27th jan.)

thank God for bringing us together as a family in Christ.

had a great time fellowshipping :)

we oso celebrated Wenchieh's 20th birthday! (actual birthday on 23rd jan)

his present from us was a belt, and Thank God he was also looking for a belt for Chinese New Year. & It fits him perfectly.

After Sunday CG, most of us had taken a step out to serve God in a greater way...
Which is.... to be part of W473 Pillars!!

First of all, we have

Discipleship (Watch me grow IC)
1. This person will be committed to watch You grow strong in the House of God!
In the area:
A) Bible Study : KY aka Angeline
B) Monitor of Study Hours: Sherrie

Ministry (The Beat of Your Heart IC)
1. This person will be in charge of weekly songsheet preparation.
Details of weekly song will be send out every Thurs night.
In- charge: Ky aka Angeline

2. This person will in charge of the CG fund, make sure we're not in debts (Haha),
have enough for monthly celebration.
In-charge: Sherrie and Wenchieh

Prayer (P.U.S.H IC)
1. This person will encourage You to be focus in prayer, with the bi-monthly early/evening prayer meetings, pre-service prayer meetings and more... they will be taking your attendance and ensure you pray and get hly as the day passes...
In-charge: Sweekeng; Assistant: Wenchieh

Fellowship (Ra-ra IC)
1. The ICs will ensure all members will remember to present their gifts for the birthday month baby, and also ensure Birthday baby receive beautiful card.
They will send out reminder.
(P.s: They will also ensure every celebration is HIGH and FUN)

2. This person is equally important, with him/her around there will be always be beautiful pictures taken. (This person job is to upload all the photos to FACEBOOK W473)

Evangelism (Sprinter IC)
1. This group is the most happening, they simply love to chills, play, eat and shop!
THey will play an Active part in knowing all the new friends in the CG, and make them a part of this family in an instant!
They will discuss, brainstorm for new places, and fun areas for the CG to gather too.

Dear W473,

This Sunday will be the most exciting 1st CG!
We wont be having any barang exchange BUT I wanna introduce another EXCITING, POTENTIALLY HILARIOUS, or HEARTWARMING, TEAR-JERKING segment of this week's CG...

SHOW AND TELL

- EVERY member and EVERY friend MUST MUST MUST MUST bring an item for SHOW and TELL.

- This item must be UNIQUE and speaks of AN INTERESTING story of the person who brought it..As such, common things like ~~ezlink card, pencil box, laptop, daily accessories like earrings etc~~which speak of mundane and borrrrriiinnnngggg stories ~~CANNOT~~ be brought for show and tell..

- Every person will have 3 mins to share with the rest of w473 what the item is, why is it of symbolic importance to him/her and really give the rest of w473 a sneak peak at your memories...

- For e.g. I gonna bring a plate and a knife which was given by my friend a when I was 13(dont play play!), they are really meaningful and precious to me =) want to konw y?
Dont miss Sunday!! Wooo... What is ur precious?

-As such, please spread the message ard, get everyone to bring their show and tell items!

Mikki is hilarious. i can't stop laughing at the post she posted haha! :D Mikki, do pass me the rules & Regulation of this blog you wanna set so that i can create one more column for that.

some updates too...

SHENNY is back! *applause* Mikki, Jazz, XueTing, Jermaine, xueTing, Ruiling & I went to the airport to fetch her last Friday.

Steamboat was fun! but i didn't have the "quan jia fu" with me now, so i can't post it up! it's been so long since we gather together, i think everybody really did enjoy themselves too. it was the first time i saw shaun playing soccer with the guys! another side of him haha! don't see him like a big lawyer only~

Rev John Bevere was awesome during service last week! i think everybody was amazed by him :D

anyway, KY has joined a ministry! it doesn't seem possible for her last year, but it happened this year! Praise the Lord! :D

Recent Event

To start this year with a BANG!
We had a phenomenal combined cell group steamboat last Saturday!
Everyone Scream: " HUAT AR!"

We chartered a bus from church and travelled down to Uzen's house at Serangoon.

In total we had 29 people who came together that night! (One more time: "HUAT AR!")
Also 3 dogs, 2 cats, 1 rabbit, and a few birds joined us in this joyous occasion!

Is pretty amazing how we squeeze ourselves into Uzen's house, having 4 steamboat machines around etc...
Had a superb time of fellowshipping with one another!
We played skateboard, soccer, watching channel 5 tgt =) not to mention,
we also took many photos with the "star" in the house! (hint hint*: Starry!)
It was a great night!

Well the best have yet to come!
Because in a few days time,
we gonna have our FIRST CELL GROUP MEETING OF THE YR!

this is the most recent picture i have of our cellgroup W473! this is during appreciation day. i remembered tearing non stop like a tap water host that day =.=

it's now 11.06pm but i'm editing this testing post i posted at around 10.37pm. this blog is officially done :D kudos to jazz badi & me! really alot of hardwork! it's hard not to reveal too :D

i thank God for W473! a mini cellgroup that will soon grow stronger in numbers & in strength! i thank God for placing Shaun & Mikki into my life. Every single one of YOU, member of W473, make a diiference as well, no doubt about that.

had been thinking about having our own punk & cool blog since 2008. this shall be a gift from jazz & I to ALL W473 members the first 2009 present! Let's lookforward to this year 2009! it shall be the best year yet.
